About Dr. Duane Patten
Dr. Duane Patten is a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Jamaica, specializing in Complex Spine Surgery and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. With extensive experience in the medical field, he provides efficient surgical care and treatment to his patients.
As a highly qualified Jamaican Neurosurgeon, Dr. Patten graduated from the University of the West Indies in 2006 and completed his neurosurgical training at the same institution. In 2019, he further advanced his expertise by completing a Complex Spine Fellowship at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, where he trained under some of the most esteemed spine surgeons in Australasia.
Dr. Patten takes pride in being a fully fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive and Complex Spinal Neurosurgeon. He is proficient in employing advanced technologies, including robotic and navigated spine surgery. Dr. Patten performs Minimally Invasive (keyhole) spine surgery for various conditions affecting the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
